Australia's DAMAGED Split Up!

Australian brutal death/grind metal outfit DAMAGED have officially split up. "Matt [Sanders] Skitz told the band he has an enlarged heart which makes it physically impossible for him to play drums any more," guitarist Chris "Hilly" Hill explained in an online posting. "The other members of the band including myself were keen to continue, so out of respect for matt we will not be performing under the name DAMAGED. I have started another band with the remaining members of DAMAGED."

DAMAGED's last release was a re-issue of their 1993 debut, "Do Not Spit" and 1995 follow-up EP, "Passive Backseat Demon Engines", in one package via Rotten Records.
